Welcome, Clair alumni, to your new On-Demand Pay experience.
Exciting news! On-Demand Pay will now be offered without the need for a Clair Spending and Savings Account or a Clair Debit Mastercard®. If you are new to Clair, please check out our article on signing up for the new experience here.
Your feedback has influenced a change within Clair. We are now able to offer On-Demand Pay that can be deposited directly to your preferred bank account or instant1 transferred onto your debit card. If your HR tech provider is able to support this new experience, you will be able to migrate over to the new On-Demand Pay experience after Clair fully transitions your partnered provider to our new system.
There are a few small changes you will need to make in order to ensure an easy flow into the new experience.
Make sure you have repaid any owed balance you have within On-Demand Pay.
Switch your direct deposit to go to your preferred bank account.
Transfer any funds from your Clair Spending and Savings Accounts to your preferred bank account.
Make sure your email and physical addresses are up to date in the Clair app.
If you proceed with the above steps, you will be fully prepared for the change to the new and better product. Once the new experience is launched for your provider, you will receive an email with additional instructions on the easy transition of your account. Please be on the lookout for that email.
Your new Clair On-Demand Pay experience will have different requirements for eligibility. Some of the requirements are:
You must be actively employed with an employer who uses one of our partnered service providers for time clock data.
You must be 18 or older.
The account used for your On-Demand Pay must be receiving your payroll direct deposit on a regular basis (a minimum of $200 each payday deposited into the account consistently over the last 60 days).
You must reside and work in the United States and in a State where we do business.
Thank you for all your feedback that helped us develop this product. We are excited to align our product more with what you have been asking for!
